Demon Within!
Soul lies severed in pieces
feasted upon by envy and disgust
Canines of wrath dig in deep
venom injected
mind paralyzed
sucking out modicums of fortitude
Claws of despair rip apart body and flesh
Blood adulterated sinning
Mortal self stung by viciousness
Ghoulish remnants precipitate....
A Demon within summoned ...
.... hidden always in the shadows of consciousness...

@ AJ,
Thanks Buddy!!
It's brutal...seemed like you were fighting with some diabolic shadow in yourself, which is consuming you and gnaws in your fear...becoz I didn't feel particularly that you like the devil in you...It's lyk sumthing's haunting you time and again...
@ Krish,
Verbatim what you said... is what I tried portraying in this piece and after your comment I know I have succeeded..
Yes I don't like that demon in me and it haunts often, more than my liking.
Dis was intense....Luvd da way de despairing words struck lik a hammer on the heart.....beautifully conveyed emotions.....darkness personified by da demon which hides inside all of us and rears its head time nd time again! likd it! :)
As for the demon itself.....I kinda recognize him.......knw wer he dwells! :)
@ Mav,
